The Lannon House

Our home. A set of walls in which my curiosity can explore without hesitation. A shrine to items passed down from family, piles of rocks and shells from walks on the beach, a collection of trinkets found at estate sales and the bottom of thrift store shelves, an altar for growing curiosities.

I operate with very few design rules. This should be fun, right? What feels natural to you? Whatever that is, go with it.

My home will be a place to house gorgeous glassware once in a set of 8 now a set of 5 because they’ve been chipped and shattered. They’ve been used. This will be a space of wear and tear and gathering. We’ll aim to use materials that stand the test of time, but we won’t sweat a stain or a spill.

Life happens within these walls.

I’d rather use the beautiful stuff every day than forget about it tucked away for the “someday” that never comes. I’ll continue to add to this space, take away, redo, edit, dream. Home is a medium that is never truly dry. It grows with us.

I keep one motto close to my heart: Nothing Too Precious

Welcome!
